Is Tom Cruise ready to leave Church of Scientology?: Favorite People
Tom Cruise, whose name has become synonymous with Scientology, is thinking about parting ways with the church, according to Star magazine.
An insider explains: "Tom hasn't admitted that he's definitely leaving Scientology for good. But he's distanced himself from those in the church and has been hanging out with good friends who aren't part of the religion."
Sources say the 50-year-old actor has turned introspective, reflecting on the damage his association with the controversial church has caused his relationships.
"Tom's been leaning on friends who have different perspectives, getting advice on moving on from Katie (Holmes) as well as on everything he's been going through with Scientology," the insider said. "He's finally seeing that being such an advocate for Scientology hasn't served him as well as he'd hoped -- he's gone through three divorces, and his public perception has sunk to an all-time low."

Reunited Stewart and Pattinson back to living under one roof
They say it's darkest just before the dawn. And for the leading couple of "Twilight," things were looking fairly bleak this summer after a cheating scandal caused Robert Pattinson to say farewell to Kristen Stewart.
But with "Breaking Dawn: Part 2" looming, they have written their own sequel.
"They are living together and have reconciled," an insider reveals to Us Weekly. The news follows a report of "a dramatic makeup" last week in Los Angeles and whispers of clandestine meetings at a friend's guest house.
In July, the couple split after revelations that Stewart, 22, cheated with her married "Snow White" director, Rupert Sanders. Although Pattinson has apparently forgiven her, he's not quite forgotten. In fact, one source says the actor "is extra-sensitive right now. He's insecure."

No day at the beach: Rockers learn of losing jobs in a news release
The Beach Boys decided to drop three members following their 50th anniversary tour in Britain. The only problem is that trio didn't find out until they read about it in a news release.
Here's what they learned from frontman Mike Love and Bruce Johnston: "The post-50th anniversary configuration will not include Brian Wilson, Al Jardine and David Marks. The 50th Reunion Tour was designed to be a set tour with a beginning and an end."
A blindsided Wilson told CNN: Im disappointed and cant understand why he (Love) doesnt want to tour with Al, David and me. We are out here having so much fun. After all, we are the real Beach Boys.
According to British paper The Telegraph, Love says the move is not motivated by a desire to bring back his longtime backing band (which includes his son), but to keep people interested in the original lineup: "You've got to be careful not to get overexposed."
Sounds like Love would like to reunite at some point, but he probably shouldnt announce it in a news release.
