Life After Tom Cruise: Katie Holmes Loves The Single Life

After a much-publicised divorce, Katie Holmes has admitted that she is truly loving life now that she is single and the actress just cant get enough of her new life in New York as a single mother.

Holmes walked out on her husband of five years Tom Cruise in June this year, just before his 50th birthday. Whilst the couple looked the picture of a happy marriage in the weeks before the split, it was clear in the immediate aftermath that Holmes had been planning on calling time on their relationship for a while. So now, in the light of her revelation, it comes as little surprise to hear that the actress has never been happier.

A source close to Katie has revealed to one online source that she is ready to start the next phase of her life, with Katie devoted to being the best parent possible to Suri as she can be. The unspecified source also revealed that the former Dawsons Creek star has absolutely no plans to get back into the dating game anytime soon, as she is purely concentrating on being the best mum she can be to Suri.

With her love life on hold for now, the actress is currently experiencing a flourishing professional life, after she seemed to move further and further into obscurity during her time as Mrs Tom Cruise. She is currently readying herself for her role in the Broadway producti! on, Dead Accounts as well as getting set for a number of film roles. Holmes is also finding success in her fashion work too, following a string of successes throughout September.
