Tom Cruise Demands To Be Known As 'Cage' On Set
In a bizarre move Tom Cruise has demanded that everyone calls him 'Cage' on the set of new movie 'All You Need Is Kill'.
But before you think Tom's gone completely tonto, or discovered a weird fetish for 'Con Air' actor Nicholas, it's actually the name of his character and Tom is apparently just being as professional as he possibly can be, and the crew are reported to be on board.
As a Hollywood star, Tom could probably get away with all sorts of ridiculous demands, but this one is actually quite a common practice among actors. Oscar favourite Daniel Day-Lewis reportedly even remained in character as Abraham Lincoln on set.

A source told The Sun: "Tom doesnt care what people think," adding: Hes so focused on doing the best possible job on the movie and has used the same tactics in previous roles. Because hes Tom Cruise, everybody follows orders. Hes a legend to them.
So, if you bump into Tom while he's filming the movie, just don't shout "hey Tom!" at the superstar, call him 'Cage' and he may just give you a friendly wave (or not).
