Generally when you think of Tom Cruise, words like, fuddy-duddy, takes-himself-too-seriously, brooding come to mind. Then he made that cameo on Tropic Thunder as the butt-shaking, sleazy Les Grossman and you realised the guy can be funny.

Tom can rock. Not uncool at all.

But, what has totally blown this non-fan away is Toms turn in the upcoming musical Rock Of Ages where Tom not only portrays a rocker but also sings Bonjovis Wanted Dead Or Alive.
In the just released extended trailer for the movie Tom, shirtless with long hair and tight jeans, lets rip like a true blue arena rocking champ. It is totally impressive.

To his credit Tom put a lot of work into bringing the character of Stacee Jaxx to life. I just kind of studied the whole time period and read a lot of books, Tom told MTV News. And his efforts have certainly won him praise and a shout out from co-star Julianne Hough. He's fantastic. If I remember correctly, I hear his ... grandparents or something were opera singers, so he has this tone and this pitch that is incredible.
