Connor Cruise taking his DJ passion very seriously

Connor Cruise wants people to know his passion for DJing is turning into a long-term career plan. Tom Cruises son, 17, was overheard discussing his dedication to the craft at the opening party for sushi hot spot Katsuya in the Andaz San Diego Hotel on Thursday night. Im taking DJ-ing very seriously and playing more and more gigs. Its something I plan on doing long-term, he was telling friends. Cruise, who earns up to $10,000 a gig, was very friendly with fans asking for photos and was introduced to retired skateboard pro/actor Tony Hawk at the party. Barely old enough to drive, Cruise now spins regularly in LA and will open for Australian DJ duo Nervo at Colony tonight.
