Tom Cruise sings Guns N' Roses, Foreigner in 'Rock of Ages' soundtrack

Tom Cruise will take on covers of classic rock tracks by Guns N' Roses and Bon Jovi in Rock of Ages.

The Mission: Impossible actor plays Stacee Jaxx in the upcoming movie adaptation of the musical, which also stars the likes of Catherine Zeta Jones, Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin.

Cruise will sing versions of 'Paradise City' by Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard's 'Pour Some Sugar on Me' and Foreigner's 'I Want to Know What Love Is'.

Russell Brand will perform a duet with Catherine Zeta Jones for a mash-up of Starship's 'We Built This City' and Twisted Sister's 'We're Not Gonna Take It'.

Other classic rock tracks include Bon Jovi's 'Wanted Dead or Alive' and Whitesnake's 'Here I Go Again'.

Like the musical, the film will end with most of the main cast performing Journey's 'Don't Stop Believin'.

The project is directed by Adam Shankman and also features Julianne Hough and Diego Boneta as young lovers Sherrie and Drew.

Rock of Ages will be released at cinemas on June 15, while the soundtrack is available on June 5.
