Tom Cruise Buying $25 Million Hawaiian Home To 'Win Suri Back From Katie Holmes?'

When you're a mega rich movie star buying a new home is no big deal so it's safe to say Tom Cruise's rumoured new $25 milion home on Hawaii is mere pocket change for the millionaire.

The 'Jack Reacher' star is rumoured to have splashed the cash on a huge estate on the beautiful island of Hawaii. The house would be no mere holiday home though as according to a report in the National Enquirer, Tom plans to use the home to whisk daughter Suri away from it all.

Tom and his ex wife Katie Holmes settled custody of their daughter when they split last year with Katie receiving primary care duties. According to this new report, Tom is hoping to spend more time with little Suri though and his Hawiian hideaway is the perfect location for daddy/daughter bonding:

He decided to buy property there overlooking the water and transform it into a fun place that Suri would never want to leave," an insider tells the magazine.

Cruise apparently made the decision to buy the property after holidaying in Lanai with his producer friend David Ellison, whose father owns most of the tiny island. Cruise toured a number of million-dollar mansions on Lanai, before reportedly settling on the $25 million estate:

Toms talking about combining the properties. Hed demolish the existing houses and build one big structure. The insider adds, Hes also considering buying four additional $4 million-plus lots for a grand total of more than $24 million worth of property!

The source goes on to claim that Holmes would be crushed by her ex-husbands plan, to whisk Suri away, quoting its spy as saying Suri could stay with him in Hawaii for weeks or even months at a time.

It looks like Katie doesn't need to w! orry though as a rep for Cruise has denied the whole report to Gossip Cop, saying it's completely false that hes shopping for properties on the island.
