According to sources close to the star, he has a giant crush on the 27-year-old and after filming the latest instalment of the 'Mission Impossible' franchise with her is desperate to work with her again.

A source told Now magazine: He thinks she's amazing and he fought hard to get her cast,

He'd like to make a movie with her in France.

Though he was "deeply sadened" when his marriage to Katie ended, the actor appears to be enjoying the single life. He was pictured enjoying a night out recently while on holiday in Croatia and delighted a group of star struck ladies by posing with them for a photo.

Perhaps the star is eyeing up a move to Europe? Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie already split their time between France and Hollywood, could the 50-year-old join them?

We are sure that Tom would rather stay close to New York though to see his daughter Suri Cruise, who lives in the city with his now ex-wife Katie Holmes.

The Dawson's Creek star secured full custody of the little girl when the couple split in June this year and she will be starting school in Manhattan later this month.
