Tom Cruise not dating Diaz

Not even the vetting powers of Scientology could convince Cameron Diaz to date Tom Cruise.

In spite of a report in Life & Style that the friends and twice co-stars are taking their friendship to the next (OT) level, a rep for the 50-year-old actor says the rumours are just that.

Cruise and Diaz, who are both currently single, have played lovers in 2010 comedic action film Knight and Day and 2001 drama Vanilla Sky, but as the 40-year-old actress told Oprah Winfrey during Days promo tour, its his ability on screen, not off, that attracts her to the Top Gun star.

He has a very high standard, Diaz said during her appearance on theOprah Winfrey Show. So thats a wonderful thing. Thats what you know youre getting when youre working with Tom. You know that youre getting someone who is dedicated to bringing the best product forward possible, and to do that, you have to be engaged in the process.
