Tom Cruise Preps For a Work and Personal Trip to NYC

Tom Cruise arrived at London's The Oval cricket venue on Thursday via helicopter. He's been all over the city in recent weeks filming All You Need Is Kill, even shutting down central London's Trafalgar Square to shoot a scene. Tom will need to take a break from his current project in the upcoming weeks to promote his Dec. 21 release, Jack Reacher. Tom plays the role of Jack Reacher, the fictional character created by author Lee Child. An intense media tour is in Tom's immediate future, including a stop in the Big Apple. Tom's the guest of honor at an upcoming event at NYC's ! Lincoln Center. He's schedule to sit down for a chat with the New York Film Festival's director of programming, Kent Jones, on Dec. 17 for a one-on-one conversation. Tom's trip to the East Coast will also allow him to catch up with daughter Suri, who currently resides in Manhattan with mom Katie Holmes.
