The blogging world was taken by surprise when the whole Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise divorce was resolved in a matter of weeks. But it seems there may be more drama in store for the couple as Tom Cruise may want a bigger share of Suri than hes currently allotted. What does the Project Runway guest judge have in store for her if Tom decides to put up a fight?
Katie Holmes has custody of Suri with Tom Cruise enjoying only limited visitation rights. This is primarily because Katie Holmes can provide a stable living environment that her jet setting, always on location, movie star father cannot.
Buta source close to Tom Cruise is reporting to Showbiz Spy that Tom might have plans to battle for Suri in court. ApparentlyTom plans on taking a break from movies after so he can spend more time with Suri.
He needs to prove hes just as reli! able as Katie, the source said. Spending time with his daughter as important to him as having a hit filmTom is absolutely planning on going after custody of Suri in the futureHis plan is to wait for now, and then fight for it down the line.
Katie has a head start, though, in providing Suri a normal home, something that may be mission impossible for Tom Cruise.
Katie is working hard to get Suri on the right path: school, friends, playdates, normalcy, said the source.
