Back to school time! New books, new shoes and, for Suri Cruise, a new custody arrangement. Its Suris first time going to a real school, as real an elite, private, costs-more-than-most-colleges school can be. So will Tom Cruise be able to convince Katie Holmes to let him be a part of Suris special first day of school? And what will this mean for the Project Runway stars custody of Suri?
As if the first day of school wasnt nerve-wracking enough, Suris going to have to face it with the paparazzi. According to Radar Online, Katie Holmesis co! ol with allowing Tom Cruise to be a part of Suris first day of school.
Tom has been filming his latest movie in London but has made plans to be in New York for Surisfirst day of school, which will be after Labor Day, a source told Radar. Tom and Katie have been speaking on the telephone regarding Suri and Katie has been very supportive of Tom wanting to be there when Suri goes to her new school for the first time.
Its a big moment in Suris life, continued the source. Katie wants Tom to be a part of that. Of course, there will be security concerns and Tom doesnt want to disrupt other parents and students at the school with his presence, which means he very well could slip in and out via a back entrance. Katie doesnt want Suri to suffer because of their divorce and both parents are truly putting the needs of their little girl ahead of their own feelings.
Well, if this is a normal first day of school for Suri cant wait to see how other mundane rights of passage go for herChristmas pageants, cheerleading tryouts, prom? Good luck little Suri and Godspeed.
