Katie Holmes Abandoned By Old Friends After Tom Cruise Marriage?

It's been a tough year for Katie Holmes after filing for divorce from megastar Tom Cruise and raising her trend-setting daughter, Suri Cruise, on her own. But her old friends are apparently not interested in supporting the newly single actress.

Keen to make a fresh start in life without the Scientologist, Katie has been allegedly trying to reconnect with the friends she had before the whirlwind romance began.

A source told ShowbizSpy that her ex-friends are not interested.

Several ex-friends gave Katie the cold shoulder because shed stopped returning their calls after her marriage it was like shed dumped them, reported ShowbizSpy.

Strict Tom, who had clear ideas on how to raise daughter Suri and allegedly stopped Katie from taking certain movie roles, apparently stood between Katie and the friends from her old life.

She says friends should understand that marriage to Tom, Scientology and raising Suri had become her whole life.

Now that Tom cant tell her who she can buddy up to, Katie desperately wants to re-establish old friendships but its looking like too little, too late.

Rumours have circulated that Katie is looking to get back with Tom - only if he ditches the crazy cult Scientology first.
