Nicole Kidman in 'loneliest place' when Tom Cruise marriage ended: report

The Paperboy star Nicole Kidman sunk into depression when her marriage to Tom Cruise ended, according to an interview with Aussie magazine Who.

I got married really fast and really young, Kidman says in the new cover story. She further tells the magazine that when her marriage ended in 2001, after 11 years with Cruise, it was the loneliest, loneliest existence.

But Kidman adds that the children she adopted with Cruise were a bright spot: But I dont regret that because it got me [children] Bella and Connor, and I did have a fantastic marriage for a long period with Tom, it was a fantastic decade.

She adds that she never spoke with Katie Holmes during her recent split with Cruise.

I never spoke to her. I wish all of them well, but I was not involved in any of that.

The Moulin Rouge star is now happily remarried to Keith Urban.
